Stone Habitat has some of the trendiest bathroom designs anywhere. We have created them from all sorts of natural stones including granite, marble, quartz, travertine and limestone. Some of these bathrooms have won awards in the industry. Others have won awards of a different kind – from our many customers who have found them to be in a class of their own.

Tumbled Bathroom - Elk Grove Village Design Centre

This creation is as exquisite as it is practical utilizing the versatility of Jerusalem Stone.
Surrounded by Tumbled Jerusalem Gold, etched insert and Gold Pencil, the use of Charail further embellishes the finish to achieve an intricate but elegant bathing environment rich in earth tones and warm. The careful and effective use of tumbled stone reduces the hazard of slipping.
The gold-plated taps maintain a consistency rich in the look and feel of a homely atmosphere. The antique looks of the lamps introduce a subtle element of time.
Altogether, this vignette exudes the restful carefreeness of sun drenched charm and artistic simulation.

Glass Bathroom - Elk Grove Village Design Centre

Nature continues to please and surprise. Glass is actually made of sand burnt and compressed through a man made process. However, looking at this delicate creation, it is hard to tell where nature ends and man’s creativity begins. Yet, there is no need to be consumed by this. The water effect of this vignette is brought to life through a careful combination of color in this scene of green and blue mosaic glass tile arrangement.

Like a gentle waterfall, the momentum is emptied into the elaborate sink where the water stands frozen in time and the contours of its escape captured like cold lava. The semi frosty glass sink tells the final story of nature’s gentle gyration as in journey’s end.

Tumble Bathroom - Mundelein Design Centre

This expansive and elegant traditional bath vignette featuring tumbled marble finishes highlights the numerous details that are now available in natural stone.

This beautiful bathroom features a honed marble slab counter and tumbled tile backsplash, a mirror framed with a vast array of decorative stone trims, borders, chair rails and mosaics. The variations of size and finishes of the same material playing solid slabs against smaller decorative elements create a visual interest and design inspiration.

Cuartzite Bathroom - Mundelein Design Centre

With an eastern flavour, the Zen Bath uses a stunning quartzite stone speckled with mica flakes for a subtle sparkling décor. The environment displays a beige and green color palette adding visual interest by playing different shapes, detailed borders and color variations against one another for a serene tone. The cut stone vanity is a Stone Habitat creation designed in the style of a Japanese table with stone on all sides and added shelving.
