Pagoda Lamp by Bao-Nghi Droste
The Pagoda Lamp is inspired by the charasteristic shapes of asian
temple roofs where the edges seem to be pulled up by an invisible
force. In the lamp´s case the suspension ropes appear to prevent the
body from falling down while ts diffusor that consists of an acrylic
frame covered with a white, bielastic fabric seems to underlie the
force of gravitation, as if the bright mass is about to fall down to
the ground and thus distorting the lower surface.

Having a strong and
silent expression at the same time, the Pagoda Lamp is suitable for
both domestic use and object environments.
