Futuristic smart fridge to manage your food [VIDEO]

Imagine a smart fridge that always alerts you on the expiry date of the food stuff and reminds you of purchasing fresh ones as well as lets you know what ingredients are missing and where you can get them the cheapest. What a wonderful idea it is! Fabian Kreuzer and Markus Lorenz Schilling have created a prototype for this fridge, which is capable of exhibiting the products held inside, together with all their nutritional details and expiration dates. The appliance is equipped with a touch display that can provide facilities such as a cook book. The futuristic refrigerator was developed at the University of Applied Sciences in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany.
