Henning Larsen, “Master of Light”, Dead at 87
Well-known Danish architect, dubbed as the “Master of Light”, the founder of famous Henning Larsen Architects passed away in his sleep at his home in Copenhagen, on Saturday, 22 June 2013. Henning gained fame in both Denmark and all over the world; he was awarded Praemium Imperiale in 2012 and most recently Mies van der Rohe Award in 2013 for his works on Harpa Concert Hall.
